I am Alonso de Riquelme, comedian and author of comedies.

I was born in Seville more than 40 years. There I trained as an actor and created a theatre company with my wife Michelle. Soon my daughter Maria was born, which was brought to the attention of the Marquis de la Laguna at the express wish of Queen Margaret. Then I formed a new company, of twelve actors and four actresses with which I have worked for most of my life. With them I have trod the boards of the most famous cities of Spain: Madrid, Granada, Seville, Valladolid, Salamanca, Toledo, Zaragoza and Valencia. For almost ten years we have performed comedies and sacramental plays of my good friend Lope de Vega, who is godfather to Angela, my second daughter. He assured us hit after hit. Recently though we've grown apart over a matter of money… However, the company continues its path, the muses have now brought us to Valencia to represent acts at the feast of Corpus and soon we will open season in La Olivera with our version of Don Quixote de Guillem de Castro.
