The first projection of cinematographic images in the world, Arivée du train à La Ciotat, was presented to the public in Paris on December 28th, 1895 by the Lumiére brothers. The following year, in the Teatro Apolo (“Apollo Theater”), the first projection of a film in Valencia was already available for viewing, and going to the cinema quickly became a popular form of entertainment.
