Poems recited in a satiric or comic tone about diverse topics, very popular in the Valencia and its surrounding areas during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The recitation of the coloquios in all manners of public and private festivals was preceded and accompanied by musical performances with guitars, dulzainas, and dances.
