When you arrive at MhV...

When you visit the museum, you have the opportunity to contribute to the care of our common culture. Your collaboration is necessary. Please respect the following NORMS (in agreement with our legal legislation). Additionally, always follow the directions of museum personnel, who will inform you of how best to comply to museum guidelines.

-For security reasons, we recommend that you leave purses, backpacks, and large bags in checked lockers, along with any objects that might be considered dangerous (umbrellas, sharp objects, etc.).

-It is not permitted to eat or drink within Museum installations. The MhV does not have a cafeteria at its disposal. If you need to ingest food to alleviate any health concerns, please consult Reception.

-It is not permitted to smoke in any of the installations of the Museum (Law 28/2005, article 7. Dec. 26)

-The only animals permitted to enter into the museum are guide dogs.

-Use a lowered voice and do not use your cell phone: in the MhV, you will find many auditory components to exhibits. If you speak loudly or make noise, you will bother other visitors and impeded them from hearing the exhibits.

-Move around the Museum calmly. Do not run between rooms, as you might cause an accident or bother other visitors.

-Keep the Museum clean. It is a public space which we ought to take care of.

-Make careful use of Museum installations and resources: treat the audiovisuals and devices you use with care.

-The exposed objects in the Museum are not allowed to be touched (save for with expressed permission).

-In the permanent exhibit you are allowed to take photos, always without flash, except in such cases where there is an expressed prohibition of photos. It is never permitted to use these photos for commercial purposes or in publications. In the temporary exhibits, consult with Reception. For special cases (photography, audio recording, filmography), request authorization directly from the museum.

With the objective of making your visit as pleasant as possible, we also suggest the following RECOMMENDATIONS:

-Address any concerns to the personnel at Reception.

-Save your entrance pass- it is valid for the entire day. You are allowed to leave and return to the museum using the same ticket.

-Do not attempt to see the entire museum at once. There is a significant amount of information available and a large variety of exhibits to explore.

-If you come with children, keep them close at all times. This way, you will be able to share the information and explain details so that they will also be able to understand.

-If you are responsible for a group, we ask that you be punctual. Please be respectful of the fixed hour of your visit. A delay may reduce the time for your visit, and, in any case, would be detrimental to other visitors.

-REMEMBER that we begin to close the exhibits 15 minutes before the official hour of closing.

The decision to visit the museum implIes the acceptance of museum norms and guidelines.

Unacceptable behavior or attitudes provide adequate reason for expulsion from the premises.

If you have any concerns or suggestions, please contact us. Your opinion is important and helps us to improve.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COLLABORATION.
