The Feliu family, grandfather, father and son, discuss the terrible working conditions, with both a youthful lust to fight back against their oppressors and the bitter hopes of those who have lived through a century of fruitless revolutions. There was also time to escape work altogether, and although the workers’ money was hardly enough to go to bullfights, the Fallas and carnivals helped them relieve the tensions of the working class.
