I am Anna Juan, wife of Guillem Tovià, weaver master.

I am daughter of Esteve Juan, a Zurrador, and I was born 30 years ago in Valencia. At 17 I married Tovia Guillem, a Pelaire, and we now have two children: Miquel, 7, and Violant, 3. Although we are in a prosperous situation, I try to adhere to the sober and austere lifestyle  that father Vicent Ferrer preaches about. I pray every day, give alms to the Hospital of Innocents, own only one domestic slave, Fatima, who is baptized , and I try to convince my husband to earn money in a strictly lawful manner. We have even hosted one of the people who accompanied father Vicent in his travels. He followed father through the land of the Crown of Aragon, Provence, France, Flanders and Italy, and his witnessed many miracles, including the resurrection of the dead.
