I am Ùrsola Sapena, weaver, wife of Jeroni Tovià.

I was born in Valencia 32 years ago. My father was a rice baker. At 15 I married Jeroni Toviá, a pelaire, and the following year we had our first child, Guillem. Although he is old enough to work in the workshop, he is always pursuing other interests and getting into trouble. Fortunately, we have help around the house and at work from our daughters, Maria, Genoveva, and Isabel, two serving boys, and a maid recently arrived from del Villar.
