Clodia Procula (79-140)

I am Clodia Procula, wife of Marcus Publicius Avito.

I was born in the year 79 in Saetabis Augusta. My family arranged a good marriage with Marcus Publicius Avito, an enterprising businessman who became wealthy off of the area quarries and other matters, such as the cultivation of flax. We have just built a Nymphaeum in Saetabis and, as a token of our high status, the wealthiest families of the colony of Valencia invite us to their feasts. Fortune has more than compensated for the nobility that fate denied me. I am interested in mystery religions and am considering studying to become a priestess of Isis. I also love oriental spices, like the ones that Tales uses, the Greek cook of our hostess Domitia Justa.
